Assistant / Project Manager – Building Projects

About the role

Our client in the construction sector is looking for an Assistant/Project Manager to support building projects across Singapore. The role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timelines, cost control and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling and coordination of project activities to meet timeline, cost and quality objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues and implement corrective actions.
• Verify construction plans, drawings and specifications for accuracy and detect any errors or variations.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, architects and authorities, providing technical guidance.
• Support personnel management, including coaching and monitoring team productivity.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency.
• Organise and lead regular coordination meetings, track deliverables and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of construction experience, preferably with a main contractor.
• Strong project‑management skills, including planning, scheduling and milestone tracking.
• Familiarity with construction quality, cost and safety standards.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites if required.
• Proficient in MS Office and project‑management software.
