Assistant Project Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Project Manager at Murex, you will support the Project Manager in delivering high-quality fintech solutions for capital-market clients. You will help coordinate project activities, manage communications and ensure that project governance is followed throughout the project life-cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with time, cost, scope, quality and communication management.
• Coordinate project communications and organise meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions.
• Own incident, release and work-environment management processes.
• Identify and escalate risks related to budget, planning or scope.
• Contribute to project reviews, quality checkpoints and corrective-action recommendations.
• Support project reporting to internal management and client stakeholders.
• Help manage project budgets, expense validation and financial data, including invoicing and forecasting.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of PMO or project support experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to run workshops and trainings.
• Excellent coordination abilities across design, build, test and deployment phases.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data, spot inconsistencies and synthesize insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication, capable of producing reports and presentations.
• Fast learner, proactive and able to add immediate value.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using Jira for issue and task tracking.
