Assistant Relationship Manager, DBS Private Bank

About the role

DBS Private Banking offers a full-service, personalised banking experience for its clients in Asia, supported by investment advisors and partnerships across the DBS network and with global institutions. This Assistant Relationship Manager position is the key client liaison for day-to-day matters, from transactions and payments to administrative requirements, helping form and retain strong relationships with high net-worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in delivering excellent service to high net-worth clients and follow up promptly on client calls or queries.
• Partner with Client, Business Support and service providers to ensure prompt transaction processing and smooth delivery of client requests.
• Act as key client proxy: initiate client instructions, track and monitor transactions, and prepare administrative loan documentation and instructions in line with regulatory requirements.
• Recognise issues promptly and escalate them appropriately to Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in a banking service role.
• Familiarity with banking products and services such as foreign exchange, bonds, equities, derivatives, fund management products and financial structures.
• Familiarity with bank and regulatory requirements.
• Meticulous, a great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CACS Certifications 1 and 2.
