About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining the high service standards of 1887 by André, a heritage gastronomy restaurant within Raffles Hotel Singapore. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving revenue and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, manage staffing levels and assign duties to supervisors.
• Maintain consistent quality of food, beverage and service, adhering to hotel standards.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly and cultivate loyal clientele.
• Lead training, coaching and performance reviews to develop team members and prepare them for progression.
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives, promotions and revenue‑management strategies to maximise sales.
• Monitor cost control, labour budgeting and produce accurate sales and performance reports using relevant tools.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance with hotel and regulatory standards.
