Assistant Restaurant Manager – Singapore

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in delivering an outstanding guest experience at a Kempinski outlet in Singapore. Working closely with the service and culinary teams, the role focuses on maintaining high standards, driving sales and preparing to take full ownership of the outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the service team to ensure courteous, professional, and efficient service.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to uphold product quality and consistency.
• Drive sales to achieve the outlet’s full potential while adhering to budgetary targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with hotel policies, fire safety, hygiene regulations and HACCP standards.
• Maintain high‑quality service and product standards in line with Kempinski, LQA and Forbes criteria.
• Identify and develop business opportunities to grow outlet revenue.
• Support the development of internal talent and prepare to assume full outlet management responsibilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a hotel or standalone restaurant/bar environment, with at least 2 years in a similar supervisory role.
• Warm, pleasant, friendly and confident with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset and ability to work independently.
• Resilient under pressure and capable of delivering proactive, rational solutions.
• Service‑oriented with a keen eye for detail and passion for Food & Beverage.
• Familiarity with LQA and Forbes standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules and procedures.
