Assistant Sales Manager – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the sales team in driving revenue for an electronics manufacturing business. Based in Bendemeer, Singapore, you will work closely with customers, the factory, and the Japan headquarters to ensure smooth order fulfillment and explore new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts, handling relationships, forecasting, inventory control and achieving monthly sales targets.
• Coordinate shipment schedules, sample requests and R&D activities with the factory and Japan headquarters.
• Support sales initiatives with existing and prospective customers to generate new opportunities.
• Assist the Finance Department in collecting accounts receivable from customers.
• Travel regionally and occasionally overseas (e.g., India, Indonesia) to support customers and pursue leads.
• Prepare regular sales reports for the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably B2B sales experience in manufacturing, especially supporting customer design projects.
• Familiarity with trading terms and conditions.
