Assistant Service Manager – CTI Cryogenic Field Service

About the role

APP Systems Services is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead the CTI Cryogenic Field Service team. You will ensure reliable operation of cryogenic equipment across customer sites, where precision and uptime are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support field service activities for CTI cryopumps, including installation, troubleshooting, regeneration, cooldown performance, leak diagnostics, and controller interfacing.
• Guide Service Engineers and technicians, providing technical support for escalations and complex issues.
• Ensure all service work complies with quality standards, safety requirements, and proper documentation.
• Participate in on‑site troubleshooting, diagnostics and root‑cause analysis when required.
• Drive continuous improvement of workflow, installation, and troubleshooting methods.
• Assist with daily manpower planning and coordination of service jobs.
• Coach and mentor the field service team to enhance technical capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with vacuum systems or similar industrial equipment, including leadership exposure.
• Strong troubleshooting ability in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
