Assistant Site Engineer with Steel Structural Experience

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Site Engineer with experience in structural steel fabrication and erection to support project execution and ensure safe, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitor project progress with the Main Contractor.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
• Perform other scopes of work assigned by the Managing Director.
• Liaise with other departments to secure information, materials, or resources needed for project progress.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection.
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with construction site safety requirements and WSH practices.
• Good communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willingness to work on construction sites and attend site meetings.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Knowledge of structural steel installation, bolting, welding and site coordination.
• AutoCAD.
