Assistant Technical Manager – Architectural

About the role

Join SAA’s dynamic team in Singapore as an Assistant Technical Manager (Architectural). You will support senior technical managers in delivering high‑quality architectural designs from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Technical Managers in leading architectural and technical coordination teams.
• Plan and allocate resources for architectural production, ensuring efficient manpower utilization.
• Develop designs from schematic to detailed construction documents, adhering to building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Review drawings for compliance with planning and building regulations and prepare submission packages for authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Maintain organized records of design drawings, specifications, and product information.
• Standardise documentation processes in collaboration with document control personnel.
• Undertake ad‑hoc project tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of local planning and building codes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite.
