About the role

The School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for tenure‑track Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Macroeconomics, with a preference for research on AI‑related topics. The role combines high‑impact research with teaching and supervision responsibilities at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key responsibilities

Conduct and publish original, high‑quality research in macroeconomics, especially areas intersecting with artificial intelligence.
Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses, including General Education modules.
Supervise graduate students and oversee undergraduate research projects.

Required profile

Demonstrated record of research quality, impact, and a clear trajectory in macroeconomics.
Relevant post‑doctoral experience is valued.
PhD degree obtained or expected by August 2027.
