Assistant/Manager, Talent Management (2-Year Contract)

About the role

RENCI is hiring an Assistant/Manager for Talent Management on a 2-year contract. The role covers performance management and learning and development across the whole organisation, and supports the Head of Department (HOD) in HR matters such as management reporting, policy review and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Improve performance management processes and run the annual performance review process
• Manage talent programmes, including high potential and scholarship programmes
• Manage Performance Improvement Plan cases
• Review HR policies for relevance and update them, and lead policy discussions
• Guide and support line managers and subordinates
• Analyse HR data for trend reports and draft concept papers and proposals for management and Board approval
• Help the HOD monitor department performance and project timelines
• Take part in HR transformation projects and lead department initiatives
• Manage project budgets, act as contact point with external stakeholders, and motivate, coach and mentor staff while supporting disciplinary and grievance matters

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (equivalent)
• At least 10 years of relevant HR and supervisory experience
• Exposure to the community care sector is an added advantage
• Proactive, independent and able to work under pressure with strict deadlines
