Associate – Deals Advisory (Financial Advisory)

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our Financial Advisory – Deals Advisory Services practice in Singapore. As a member of the Deals Advisory practice, you will assist clients during key phases of mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, helping leading companies evaluate and value their deals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical financial data to identify operational and business trends.
• Assess deal issues such as quality of earnings, net debt, and working capital that impact valuation.
• Assist in valuing businesses, shares, intangible assets, and perform purchase price allocations.
• Build and maintain financial models using methodologies like DCF and market multiples.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking using S&P Capital IQ.
• Prepare client deliverables, presentations, and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
• Support business development initiatives and proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with willingness to obtain a financial qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CVA, etc.).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in international accounting firms, preferably in financial due diligence or valuation.
• Strong analytical skills complemented by solid business acumen.
• Good understanding of relevant financial reporting standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly adaptable, able to work independently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Keen to collaborate in an international team across geographies.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
