Associate Director / Director, APAC Finance

About the role

The Associate Director / Director, APAC Finance will lead financial operations, reporting, planning & controls, and business partnering across Hoffman’s Asia‑Pacific region. The role builds on an existing finance foundation, strengthens regional governance, and elevates the finance function to a proactive strategic partner for market and regional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, accounting and FP&A for APAC businesses.
• Ensure accurate, timely monthly financial reporting and provide insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Lead, coach and develop regional finance teams, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Implement robust financial policies, procedures and controls to meet accounting, tax and corporate standards.
• Partner with market leaders to translate operational priorities into financial plans, KPIs and performance insights.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and conduct financial/operational reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead adoption and ongoing optimization of a new global ERP system across APAC.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 8‑10 years progressive finance/accounting experience in a multinational or regional environment.
• Proven experience leading finance teams across multiple markets.
• Strong FP&A, reporting, financial analysis and business partnering capabilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, compliance and tax requirements.
• Experience with ERP implementation or system adoption highly desirable.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working in the Asia‑Pacific region.
