Associate Director - Lending Operations

About the role

The Associate Director – Lending Operations will lead the delivery of lending products across Singapore, overseeing both in‑country banking operations and outsourced processing at Global Business Services hubs. The role translates business strategy into operational execution while driving platform migrations, digitisation, and change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, credit, client experience, technology, and branch teams to align operational delivery with business objectives.
• Lead platform migrations and digitisation projects from design through testing and rollout.
• Manage incident response, service recovery, and escalation processes for major operational or technology events.
• Govern third‑party and outsourced operations through SLAs, performance reviews, and risk controls.
• Represent Operations in risk and regulatory forums, ensuring compliance with MAS and outsourcing requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of client experience and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in banking or lending operations, preferably at a senior managerial level.
• Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory expectations (MAS) and operational risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, cross‑functional teams and talent pipelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
