Associate Executive, Business Office (Billing & Deposit Monitoring)

About the role

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore is hiring an Associate Executive for its Finance (Business Office) department, within the Billing & Deposit Monitoring team. You will help ensure patients receive accurate and timely billing services, working closely with healthcare professionals, external partners, patients and caregivers.

Key responsibilities

• Keep patient bills accurate and complete by reviewing billing records, resolving discrepancies and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Work with healthcare institutions, government agencies, vendors, clinical departments, patients and next-of-kin to resolve billing matters.
• Monitor and investigate billing reports and dashboards: review inter-hospital transactions, investigate billing exceptions and system errors, track unbilled cases and outstanding actions, and follow up on pending bill blocks.
• Support deposit and payment management: monitor inpatient deposits, follow up on Medisave claims, insurance claims and Letters of Guarantee, and coordinate payments with patients, employers and agencies.
• Handle phone enquiries, counter duties and administrative tasks to deliver good service.

Required profile

• Minimum ITE/Diploma with working experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong writing skills and analytical thinking.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders, customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail.
