Associate Executive, Finance

About the role

NHG is hiring an Associate Executive, Finance on a 1-year contract. The role covers billing, receivables, intercompany transactions and reporting, working with healthcare payors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intercompany and related-party transactions, including account confirmations, statements of accounts and billing activities.
• Clear bank receipts and allocate customer payments accurately and on time.
• Run e-commerce reconciliations and investigate differences between payment platforms and accounting records.
• Process non-patient billings, e-invoicing and intercompany billings, and follow up on outstanding debtor balances.
• Prepare and submit invoices and operational and financial reports to MOH, MOHH, NHG, external agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Administer payor adjustments, MAF+, Remission and other healthcare financing schemes according to guidelines.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, audit schedules and other reports supporting monthly and annual closing.
• Assist in financial analysis, process improvement and system enhancement projects, and liaise with departments, stakeholders and customers on billing and payment matters.
• Carry out ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in business, finance or accounting.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prior SAP knowledge is an advantage.
