Associate Executive - Volunteer Management (PHIC)

About the role

SingHealth is hiring an Associate Executive (AE) to support its Volunteer Management Department within the Division of Population Health and Integrated Care (PHIC). The AE assists with recruitment, training, planning, coordination and execution of all volunteer management and engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage volunteer email and phone enquiries and respond quickly to volunteers
• Support volunteer deployment, scheduling and volunteer records
• Support programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting
• Prepare certificates acknowledging volunteer hours and contributions
• Help plan and run appreciation events, recruitment fairs and campaigns
• Keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and track the department's expenses
• Resolve volunteer requests and build good working relationships with volunteers
• Help manage department assets such as equipment and materials
• Collect post-event feedback and data for reporting
• Maintain and update volunteer databases and records
• Take part in team meetings and carry out any other assigned duties

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Communications, Business, Marketing, Community Engagement, Development and Outreach, with a strong interest in healthcare and/or volunteer management or digital marketing
• Experience in volunteering is an advantage
• Able to work independently
• Friendly, approachable and patient with volunteers
• Good communication skills and collaborative team player
