Associate – Financial & Fintech Policy

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Associate to join BowerGroupAsia’s Financial Services and Fintech team in Singapore. The role supports the Director for Financial Services and Fintech by analysing policy developments, managing client projects and contributing to business development across the Indo‑Pacific and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse landmark legislation and regulations affecting financial services, fintech and geopolitical issues across BGA’s markets.
• Draft and edit client deliverables, memos, news flashes and thought‑leadership products such as the Asia‑Pacific Forecast.
• Coordinate client workstreams, onboard new projects and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Support business development by tracking market dynamics, maintaining client databases and preparing sales pitches.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in research, analysis and writing within financial services, fintech or related policy environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; ability to interact with international stakeholders.
• Highly self‑motivated, organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple work streams under tight deadlines.
• Experience or interest in Indo‑Pacific geopolitical and economic trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Competence with basic internet applications and research tools.
