Associate, Financial Institutions Group Singapore

About the role

ANZ is looking for a high‑energy Associate to join its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Singapore. You will work closely with senior coverage bankers to grow revenue and manage a portfolio of bank and non‑bank financial institution clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, including onboarding, account servicing, ongoing reviews, and deal management.
• Support the origination, structuring, evaluation, and execution of business opportunities and transactions.
• Collaborate with product partners, operations, risk, research & analysis, and the broader ANZ network to deliver successful outcomes.
• Ensure the portfolio complies with credit policies, group standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist strategic initiatives while maintaining strong risk‑management and first‑line‑of‑defence practices.
• Contribute to a high‑performing, collaborative team culture through effective communication and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the financial industry, preferably within FIG.
• Strong team player with proven ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical thinker, quick learner, and highly organised.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work across cultures.
• Comfortable handling high‑pressure environments and extended working hours when needed.
