Associate – Financial Services & Fintech Policy

About the role

BowerGroupAsia is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Financial Services and Fintech team in Singapore or Hong Kong. The role supports client advisory work, policy analysis and project delivery under the direction of the Director for Financial Services and Fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze landmark legislation, regulations and geopolitical developments affecting financial services and fintech across the Indo‑Pacific and Africa, and produce written products such as memos, news flashes and client deliverables.
• Manage client workstreams, coordinate onboarding, schedule and lead meetings, track deliverables and ensure alignment across BGA teams and with clients.
• Support business development by researching client sectors, maintaining the internal client database, preparing talking points and contributing to marketing and sales pitches.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in financial services, fintech or related policy analysis, with a strong understanding of the Indo‑Pacific economic and geopolitical landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with international colleagues in a fast‑paced environment.
