Associate, Global Financial Markets Credit Risk

About the role

The TeamRMG Global Financial Markets (GFM) Credit team at DBS is responsible for setting up and maintaining a robust measurement and reporting process for counterparty credit risk across internal, regulatory and customer credit risks. This is a regular, full-time position based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tasks in sub-teams covering Wealth Management Lombard Lending Loanable Values, GFM Derivatives Pre-settlement Credit Exposure, GFM Issuer Credit and Transactional Approval.
• Work with product and front-office teams on credit processing, risk reviews and monitoring, and compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Take part in user acceptance testing and verification of system changes and enhancements.
• Improve processes and workflows, automate work and use data analytics with Excel, VBA, Bloomberg and Qlik.
• Help develop AI solutions for counterparty credit risk, including designing, implementing and testing frameworks in agentic systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Data Analytics.
• Ideally working experience in risk management at a financial institution, or in wealth management, traded products, counterparty credit risk or collateral management.
• Understanding of wealth lending products, structured notes, equities and Lombard lending; understanding of financial markets and products including derivatives.
• Familiarity with AI and agent concepts, preferably with hands-on experience.
• Analytical mindset, strong desire to learn, and effective oral and written communication skills.
