Associate IT Project Manager

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an Associate IT Project Manager to lead a team of IT engineers in delivering reliable IT operations and supporting client service level expectations. The role involves close collaboration with client stakeholders, continuous service improvement, and execution of change and enhancement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT engineering resources to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Handle client stakeholder management, including monthly reporting, escalation handling, and serving as the single point of contact.
• Maintain up‑to‑date standard operating procedures and drive continuous service improvement.
• Lead change enhancement projects, technical design, effort sizing, implementation planning, and business case development.
• Perform vendor management and IT procurement as required.
• Oversee day‑to‑day resource planning, coaching, and line‑management of IT engineers.
• Participate in IT infrastructure design, project management, strategy formation, and procurement advisory assignments.
• Deliver small to medium‑sized development and enhancement projects, including estimation, planning, monitoring, and control.
• Manage end‑to‑end service management, process development, and project evaluation aligned with business cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8‑10 years of IT operations management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a public‑sector environment.
• Strong experience in managing change deployments.
