Associate Manager – Business Development & Recruitment

About the role

The Associate Manager will drive new and existing business development for Michael Page’s recruitment services in Singapore, reporting to the Associate Director. This individual contributor role offers a fast‑track path to team management for candidates with prior people‑management experience.

Key responsibilities

• Source and act as primary contact for internal talent acquisition needs.
• Generate leads through events, networking, and meetings to create commercially important opportunities.
• Manage key accounts, partnering with top brands on their recruitment requirements in Singapore.
• Lead a small team of 1‑4 consultants within six months, if team‑management aspirations exist.
• Engage prospects via social media, events, and cold‑calling to expand the pipeline.
• Negotiate and close recruitment contracts, delivering strong commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of experience in a recruitment firm.
• Minimum two years of people‑management experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated passion for commercial sales and business development.
• Values aligned with the company’s culture and ability to build rapport with C‑level executives.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
