Associate / Senior Associate, Relationship Manager - TMT Banking

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate, Relationship Manager for its Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT) Corporate & Investment Banking team. The team covers TMT customers and TMT-focused private equity funds across DBS's global footprint, working with clients in semiconductor, data centres, technology platforms, communication service providers and equipment manufacturers. The role is based in DBS Asia Central and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake corporate finance analysis, including building financial models and performing valuation analysis.
• Work with TMT Senior Bankers on the origination and execution of corporate and investment banking transactions for TMT customers globally.
• Support Senior Bankers in preparing the TMT Country Plan and Account Plan for key customers and help execute them.
• Prepare presentation materials for marketing pitches and project execution.
• Carry out TMT industry research and trend analysis to support pitches and transactions and build sector expertise.
• Support the preparation and submission of RFPs, pitches, meeting deal execution timelines, credit memos and supervision reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline, or willingness to learn Finance and Accounting.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking or corporate finance.
• Good analytical and writing skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial modelling and credit analysis.
• Knowledge of loan syndication, debt capital markets, equity capital markets and/or M&A advisory is an advantage.
