Associate / Senior – Financial Advisory (Restructuring & Insolvency)

About the role

The Restructuring and Insolvency Associate/Senior conducts initial market research and financial analyses, participates in business development and stakeholder interactions, and manages restructuring and insolvency processes for client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical financial performance and perform cash flow analyses.
• Conduct financial analyses, review financial statements and assess business performance.
• Gather data to develop financial restructuring plans and proposals.
• Prepare documents for the sale of distressed assets.
• Research legal entity structures of clients.
• Assist in drafting correspondence with creditors during restructuring or insolvency.
• Support judicial management, receiverships and liquidations.
• Maintain internal and external relationships to drive desired outcomes.

Required profile

• Background in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Tenacious, eager to learn on the job and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player.
