Associate, Specialist, Credit Portfolio Reporting (Consumer Banking)

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate, Specialist for Credit Portfolio Reporting within its Consumer Banking function. The role sits in the Risk Management schedule and focuses on producing accurate, timely reports for stakeholders, improving report processes and supporting data quality checks.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reports requested by stakeholders are accurate, complete and delivered within the requested timeline.
• Take on multiple roles (maker, checker, reviewer) within the team to safeguard report accuracy.
• Proactively review, document and maintain procedures and guidelines for report generation.
• Participate in the system project for report automation and help implement it.
• Review data quality checks and propose enhancements where needed.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders on reporting needs and support ad-hoc initiatives.
• Join the inter-department initiative building the next-generation dashboard, including sharing the current report approach and discussing how to retrofit it into a more capable dashboard.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio reporting or business intelligence within financial services.
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team while managing several reporting schedules.

Required skills

• Data extraction and analysis tools such as SQL and Python.
• Data visualization and Power Pivot experience is preferable.
