Associate/Senior Associate, Application Developer (Service Mesh, Core Banking)

About the role

DBS Group Technology manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers banking services across multiple channels. This Associate/Senior Associate position focuses on software development and automation, service mesh integration, and CI/CD pipeline support within core banking technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and applications using Java, Bash or Python, and contribute to scalable, maintainable code.
• Assist in integrating service mesh so applications communicate seamlessly, and apply REST and JSON API concepts.
• Take part in CI/CD pipelines, covering build, testing and deployment, and gain exposure to Git, Jenkins and Maven.
• Troubleshoot application and middleware issues, diagnose bugs and performance bottlenecks, and tune performance.
• Write technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions and agile ceremonies, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 3 years of similar work experience.
• Analytical and curious, with attention to detail and effective communication.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and prioritize tasks.
