Associate/Vice President – Trade Commodity Finance

About the role

Join ING’s Trade & Commodity Finance franchise in Singapore, supporting clients across Asia‑Pacific with tailored trade and commodity solutions and sustainable finance expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new clients and manage existing Trade Commodity Finance (TCF) relationships across Asia‑Pacific.
• Structure and execute transactions in collaboration with clients, product, risk, legal, compliance and operations teams.
• Work with the Transaction Management Office and operations partners to ensure robust execution of flow trade transactions.
• Support growth of ING’s wallet share of auxiliary businesses and trade digitalisation initiatives.
• Implement business strategies and policies to achieve financial and business objectives while adhering to risk, regulatory and legal requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in financial services, preferably commodity sector, trade finance or related fields.
• Commercial mindset with ability to develop solutions together with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, accountability and execution excellence.
• Collaborative team player with global mindset and high integrity.
• Good analytical skills, resourceful and resilient in challenging situations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
