Assurance Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager

About the role

Baker Tilly is looking for experienced professionals to join its Assurance service line in Singapore. You will provide assurance services to a global clientele, developing your technical knowledge while working with businesses across many industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage fieldwork on client sites, coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Review and evaluate risks, documents and key controls, assess process flows and identify significant accounting issues.
• Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and related financial reporting matters.
• Identify, prepare and take part in proposals for new clients and projects.
• Understand client operations, processes and business objectives and apply that knowledge to engagements.
• Identify areas for improvement in client business processes, recommend improvements and prepare and deliver a Management Letter.
• Coach other team members by sharing experience and knowledge.
• Act as an advisor to newly public and private clients on accounting, financial reporting and internal control matters.
• Stay connected to market trends, guide the integration of overseas resources and build internal contacts.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification in accountancy.
• Around 5 to 10 years of external audit experience; managerial candidates and above are welcome to apply.
• Good command of English.
• Recognised team leader with good interpersonal skills, proactive in problem-solving and client management.
