Audit Associate (July 2027 Intake)

About the role

The Audit team at Grant Thornton supports businesses in an important compliance measure that builds transparency and a complete picture of their financial position and regulatory obligations. Using a single audit approach and methodology across all Grant Thornton firms, the team delivers consistent, high-quality audit services to multinational clients across many sectors. This Audit Associate position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality audits.
• Maintain effective and regular communication with senior team members on client engagements.
• Analyse, prepare and review audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting in line with applicable frameworks.
• Understand how daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the business.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Singapore residency and ability to work in Singapore.
• Able to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities while working with a team.

Required skills

• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRS and ISA.
• Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and written skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
