AV Technician – Boon Lay Campus

About the role

The Audio‑Visual (AV) Technician will ensure all AV systems at the SJ Campus (38 Cleantech Loop) are fully operational and deliver seamless event experiences. You will set up, operate, and maintain audio, lighting, and visual equipment for a variety of events, meetings, and video conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and configure Audio, Lighting, Visual and vMix consoles, as well as all related AV equipment.
• Set up microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, monitors, recording gear and connect wiring and cables.
• Perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance, safety checks, and cleanliness inspections of auditoriums, theatres, training and meeting rooms.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment at an intermediate level and load digital content onto media display panels.
• Provide logistics support for VIP visits, events and client requests, and liaise with OEMs or vendors for repairs.
• Maintain AV inventory, asset tracking, and update SOPs for AV systems.
• Train a buddy on AV set‑up and troubleshooting, and stand by for meetings and video conferences.

Required profile

• NITEC in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience with AV systems and related computer knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills and a good safety mindset.
• Willingness to work shifts on public holidays, weekends and overtime.
• Comfortable working at height.
