AVP Development Lead – Group Technology

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President Development Lead to own end‑to‑end software development for banking systems. The role covers the full lifecycle from project initiation through design, implementation, testing and support, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technical team delivering banking solutions, overseeing internal and vendor deliverables.
• Participate in application technical design, development, review and ensure compliance with architecture road‑maps, policies and standards.
• Analyse system impacts, research problems and implement optimal solutions while maintaining documentation such as SOPs and architecture guides.
• Drive agile activities including feature design, planning, estimation, daily stand‑ups and streamline deployment processes.
• Identify and remediate technical debt and adopt data‑oriented approaches to resolve root‑cause issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing on‑shore/off‑shore teams and third‑party vendors.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
