AVP, Product Manager (Consumer Deposits)

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group, the leading bank in Asia, is looking for a driven, detail-oriented AVP Product Manager to own the CASA (Current Account Savings Account) product. The role focuses on platform ownership, business transformation, customer and employee journey optimisation, operational excellence and technology enablement across the CASA franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the deposits product proposition by developing and enhancing CASA products, partnering with Product, Operations and Technology teams to define capability roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead CASA product investigations into production incidents, customer-impacting defects and operational issues, working with Technology and Operations to find root causes, drive remediation and prevent recurrence.
• Act as the CASA product business owner, championing governance of platform stability, scalability and operational efficiency.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements to strengthen operational efficiency, controls and process governance, working with Risk, Compliance and Operations on regulatory and policy adherence.
• Manage incident reviews, root cause analysis and remediation initiatives.
• Map and optimise end-to-end customer and employee journeys through technology enablement, process redesign and automation, removing friction across digital, branch and assisted channels.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Technology, Operations, Channels, Risk and Compliance, prepare business cases, platform roadmaps and management reports, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6-10 years of experience in banking, product management, platform management or a related field.
• Proven track record leading platform enhancements, system implementations and process improvements.
• Experience investigating and resolving production issues through stakeholder management and RCAs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to align multiple functions.
• Meticulous, focused on execution and follow-through, proactive, self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
