AVP, Strategic Program Office Project Manager, Regional CBWMO

About the role

As part of the Strategic Program Office, you will manage and track a portfolio of projects within Consumer Banking & Wealth Management Operations (CBWMO). You will work closely with Project Managers, Platform Leads, Technology teams, the Ops COO and Finance business unit controllers to track the financials and outcomes of projects. You will also run the monthly Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting and support stakeholders on the platform initiatives budget.

Key responsibilities

• Work with diverse stakeholders including Project Sponsors, Project Managers, Platform Leads, Technology teams, the Ops COO and Finance business unit controllers.
• Prepare presentation materials and project statuses for the monthly PSC meetings.
• Maintain PSC meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
• Review business cases with Project Managers and Finance controllers.
• Track CBWMO project financials and benefits, such as budget, forecast and actual spend, alongside project status and outcomes.
• Assist with the Annual Budgeting exercise for CBWMO's Platform initiatives.
• Lodge project contracts and process invoices.
• Compile progress status and updates for Scorecard and Platform KPI reporting.
• Track and report on project resources on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; 5 years of experience in finance and project management preferred.
• Familiarity with basic finance concepts such as profit and loss, capex, opex, depreciation and payback period preferred.
• Analytical, articulate and comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive problem solver with planning and organising skills, attention to detail and ability to manage tight timelines.
• Detail-oriented, team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
