AVP/VP, Product Owner cum Business Lead, Global Financial Markets Operations

About the role

DBS is hiring a Product Owner cum Business Lead for its Global Financial Markets Operations (GFM Ops) unit, which acts as a regional processing centre (hub and spoke) supporting GFM businesses in the region. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, focusing on treasury products, and works with business stakeholders, development teams and other parties throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize and deliver product features aligned with strategic business objectives, and lead Product Owners and Business Project Managers on roadmaps and workstreams
• Elicit and analyse user requirements, document end-to-end business process flows, and break down features into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, and consolidate stakeholder requirements with Tech BAs and developers for effort estimation and test coordination
• Translate requirements into structured requirements, process maps and solutions, and assess testing approaches and sign-off criteria
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare documentation on data flow, design and testing, and support implementation and post-implementation use
• Gather and analyse post-launch feedback to inform future product iterations

Required profile

• 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, with a strong focus on product ownership of treasury products (vanilla and structured derivatives)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; treasury and markets product or technical certificates such as CBAP or Agile Product Owner/Scrum Master are preferred
• Location: DBS Asia Hub; schedule regular, full time

Required skills

• Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence for backlog management and sprint planning
• Process and system architecture design, and ability to turn complex requirements into clear technical requirements and process maps
• Data analysis and emerging technologies are an added advantage
