Backend Engineer

About the role

We are an AI‑native, forward‑thinking product and engineering team looking for a Backend Engineer to design, build, and ship scalable cloud‑native services. The role involves turning stakeholder needs into AI‑enhanced product workflows and improving productivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch cloud‑native backend services from concept through production.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into robust technical solutions, covering estimation, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with other backend engineers and cross‑functional teams throughout analysis, development, and launch.
• Apply AI‑native engineering practices such as AI‑assisted development, agentic programming, and harness engineering to accelerate delivery.
• Plan and support infrastructure, deployment, and operational readiness for new features and services.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and developer efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks, and databases.
• Hands‑on backend development experience using Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience working in Linux environments with exposure to Docker and Nginx.
• Passion for coding, innovation, and solving complex technical challenges.
