Bellhop – Guest Services

About the role

The Bellhop provides front‑line guest service at a Marriott hotel in Singapore. You will greet guests, handle luggage, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their rooms, opening doors and explaining room features.
• Transport, store, and retrieve guest luggage, and assist with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Provide directions, arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and communicate parking procedures.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Support guests with disabilities, respond to service requests promptly, and report any safety concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance, navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time, stand or walk for extended periods, and handle physical workload.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Commitment to follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and deliver courteous service.
