Big Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer to join the Data Platform Singapore Business Partnering team at TikTok. You will help design, build and operate a modern data warehouse that supports both batch and real‑time analytics, enabling the business to make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into end‑to‑end technical designs for batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop, optimise and maintain ETL jobs and data models for the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to create data metrics, dashboards and data products.
• Support roll‑outs, upgrades and releases of data platform components.
• Implement analytics techniques to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data engineering.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Data modelling and ETL development.
• Batch and real‑time data processing concepts.
