Big Data Systems Administrator

About the role

This position is a technical L2 resource responsible for all Big Data services within Crédit Agricole CIB's Singapore centre. The role focuses on production support, ensuring the health and stability of Big Data infrastructure, and collaborating with architects, project teams and service managers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for Big Data services, handling incidents and ensuring SLA compliance.
• Monitor and maintain the overall health and stability of technical solutions within scope.
• Collaborate with L3 engineers, architects and project teams on technology road‑maps and project delivery.
• Document, review and share technical information, best practices and service improvements.
• Participate actively in high‑severity incidents, driving resolution and post‑incident analysis.
• Review technology changes to identify potential risks and ensure production readiness.

Required profile

• Experienced professional in Big Data services with a solid understanding of infrastructure operations.
• Ability to support the team during diagnosis of technical issues and to anticipate inter‑relationships within a global IT environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with peers, development teams, service managers, architects and project stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards service improvement and transformation projects.
