Billing Analyst - MaaS

About the role

Bitdeer, a Bitcoin mining and AI cloud company headquartered in Singapore, is looking for a Billing Analyst for its Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform. The role owns the accuracy of usage-to-invoice: ensuring every token processed, GPU-second consumed and fine-tuning job run is metered correctly and reflected on customer invoices. It reconciles usage data against billing records, maintains pricing models and calculates service credits when GPU faults or capacity outages interrupt customer workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile raw metering data (tokens, GPU-seconds, storage, API calls) against billed line items each billing cycle, investigate variances to account and job level, document root causes and drive fixes with engineering and finance teams.
• Maintain and evolve pricing models (per-token, per-GPU-hour, tiered or committed-use discounts), model revenue impact of proposed changes and validate billing-system configuration against product and sales commitments.
• Calculate and issue service credits for GPU faults, node failures or capacity outages using SLA terms and incident timelines, and build an auditable method for sizing credits.
• Monitor usage and billing pipelines for anomalies such as duplicate metering events or missing records, and build checks and dashboards that flag unusual spend early.
• Support customer-facing billing disputes by pulling usage evidence and turning recurring dispute themes into proposed changes to pricing logic or invoice presentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in billing operations, revenue operations or financial analysis at a cloud infrastructure, SaaS or other usage-metered business, with exposure to consumption-based pricing.
• Comfortable working across engineering, finance and customer-facing teams under ambiguity.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling in Excel or Google Sheets, and basic scripting in Python or a similar language.

Required skills

• Strong SQL, in a data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with a usage-based or subscription billing platform such as Stripe Billing, Zuora, Chargebee, Metronome or Orb.
• Working knowledge of GPU and compute-based pricing and of translating SLA terms into credit calculations.
