BIM Coordinator (MEP) – 2 Year Contract

About the role

The BIM Coordinator (MEP) will create and manage BIM content for project delivery, ensuring model quality and compliance with standards. The role supports 4D simulation and 5D cost management while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create BIM content and production documents to support BIM‑assisted project delivery.
• Perform QA/QC on modeller and consultant BIM models to ensure compliance with organisational VDC/IDD standards.
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication.
• Interpret engineering drawings and update consultant RFIs to reflect design intent.
• Develop BIM models with correct parameters and attributes for 4D simulation and 5D cost management.
• Identify and report discrepancies during design production to BIM engineers.
• Collaborate and share knowledge with team members to enhance project outcomes.
• Utilise proficiency in Civil & Structural, Architectural, and M&E 3D models.
• Apply BIM documentation and shop‑drawing generation directly from models.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of full BIM experience, preferably with A1 main contractors or consultants.
• Higher Nitec in Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering, or a Diploma/Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, or BIM.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Basic knowledge of Dynamo and Civil3D for BIM model enhancement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic usage of Dynamo and Civil3D.
