Branch Service Executive (Banking)

About the role

The Branch Service Executive (Banking) is a hybrid front‑line position that blends traditional over‑the‑counter duties with digital banking advocacy. You will support walk‑in customers while guiding them to adopt self‑service and mobile banking solutions in a digital‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a digital advocate, assisting customers with e‑forms, self‑serve kiosks and mobile banking apps.
• Handle cash transactions that cannot be completed digitally.
• Own and resolve customer queries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Identify customer needs through walk‑ins and outbound calls, recommending suitable financial products such as loans and deposits.
• Manage full account opening processes, both physical and digital.
• Support daily branch administration, document verification and back‑office tasks.
• Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in structured upskilling programmes and take on additional duties assigned by the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• Comfortable using digital tools and promoting digital adoption.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, adaptable to changing schedules and locations.
• Professional grooming and willingness to work Saturdays (with a weekday off).
• Open to candidates with no experience as well as experienced customer‑service professionals.
