Building Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Building Construction Supervisor will support the Construction Manager in developing and delivering construction projects, ensuring they are organised, scheduled and implemented effectively. This role involves planning, leading and monitoring project progress while handling day‑to‑day operational tasks on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager with conceptual development and overall project oversight.
• Plan, lead and monitor construction progress against the project schedule.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including manpower planning, progress monitoring, master schedule preparation and cost control.
• Control project budgets, covering materials, labour and machinery costs for new and ongoing projects.
• Issue timely instructions to address delays or emergencies on site.
• Review work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safe, economical methodologies and project standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to minimise errors and achieve on‑time completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities and developers to resolve site issues and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Middle‑management experience in construction supervision.
• Strong ability to plan, organise and monitor multiple project activities.
• Proven track record in cost management and budget control.
• Effective problem‑solving skills for handling site delays and emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
