Building Engineer – Project Management (6‑Month Contract to Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Building Engineer with strong project‑management experience to support a major healthcare facility in Singapore. The position starts as a six‑month contract with the intention of conversion to a permanent role, offering the chance to lead multidisciplinary engineering works across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with Singapore building codes and healthcare standards.
• Identify design gaps, coordinate with consultants, and resolve technical issues for systems such as ACMV, medical gas, fire protection, structural works and civil infrastructure.
• Conduct site inspections, attend technical meetings, and manage RFIs, variation orders and coordination among M&E, civil, structural and architectural teams.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities, review reports, and manage defect rectification.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure adherence to BCA, EMA, NEA, PUB, SCDF and MOH regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in design review, construction oversight and commissioning within the building or healthcare sector.
