Building Technician

About the role

JLL is hiring a Building Technician for an on-site position in Singapore. The technician keeps building facilities running smoothly through daily checks, routine maintenance and minor repairs, and reports to a supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Daily inspection of essential equipment and recording of operating parameters
• Meter reading for energy and water consumption
• Regular inspections of term contractors' work (ACM/V systems, pest control, fire protection, lifts and escalators)
• Denying entry to unauthorised persons to the site
• Visual inspection of low-tension switchgear and distribution boards
• Operating and maintaining air-conditioning equipment in common areas
• Operating and maintaining pumps, air compressors, sump pumps, transfer pumps and booster pumps
• Installing or replacing power points and light fittings in common areas
• Troubleshooting electrical breakdowns and AC outages
• Monthly checks of stock levels and spare parts
• Housekeeping and general maintenance of building facilities
• Checking the swimming pool water condition and common area lighting
• Minor handymen work such as painting, fixing door closers, handles and locksets, and general plumbing in toilets and pantries
• Coordinating with other contractors on rectification and repair work
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the supervisor and complying with OMS procedures and standards
