Bus PDI Engineer – Vehicle Inspection & Commissioning

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer to lead Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities for our bus fleet. The role ensures buses are properly parked, stored and aligned, and that they are handed over to customers on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all PDI activities for buses, ensuring proper depot organization and operational efficiency.
• Conduct joint inspections with customers, including the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and coordinate any required rectifications.
• Engage in technical discussions with OEMs, applying vehicle engineering principles to bus design, testing and commissioning.
• Work independently with vendors and suppliers to resolve quality findings.
• Ensure contract deliverables are met, including registration and timely hand‑over of buses to customers.
• Complete required checklists for customer invoicing.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in the automotive or a related industry.
• Class IV driving licence preferred.
