Business Analyst – AML Domain (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep AML domain knowledge to join our Singapore team. The role involves gathering and analysing business requirements, defining functional specifications, and supporting implementation for banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document AML‑related requirements such as Name Screening, CDD, and Transaction Monitoring.
• Produce detailed functional and non‑functional specifications, impact assessments, and release notes in line with bank standards.
• Perform requirement traceability, manage scope creep, and monitor risks throughout the analysis phase.
• Work closely with system analysts, architects, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration and successful SIT/UAT execution.
• Review and sign‑off functional specifications and test cases, and support the change management process.
• Document “to‑be” business processes and provide assumptions for IT management approval decks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of banking experience with a focus on AML, including Name Screening, CDD, and Transaction Monitoring.
• Proven ability to work with business units, translate requirements into functional designs, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in impact assessment, risk monitoring, and change management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements.
