Business Analyst – Banking (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a banking vertical on a contract basis. You will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring data and system requirements are captured, documented and delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Collate and manage application details for the assigned business vertical, including system interfaces and data content.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the user community, answering business queries and guiding optimal system usage.
• Assist the Project Manager with impact assessments, documenting rationale for projects with and without impact.
• Govern design alignment with strategic data‑flow strategies and ensure stakeholder requirements are clearly captured and reviewed.
• Partner with solution teams to design long‑term, standardized business solutions.
• Define testing approaches, obtain stakeholder sign‑off, and manage UAT timelines, batch runs and test results.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation on data flow, design, solutioning and testing according to templates.

Required profile

• A degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of business analysis experience; banking experience is a plus.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders, internal tech teams and solution engineers.
• Strong written and spoken communication and documentation skills.
