Business Analyst, Content & Standards Division

About the role

This Business Analyst role sits within the Media Policy & Content (MPC) Group, which keeps media content policies and regulations up to date in line with changing consumption patterns and digital advances, while reflecting societal values and public interest. The position is pegged at Manager level within the Content & Standards Division.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with management, end-users and technical teams to gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements for AI solutions.
• Convert business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories aligned with development teams and business goals.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points and recommend automation or optimisation using AI tools.
• Perform functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure configurations meet business requirements.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
• Run user training sessions and provide ongoing support for adoption of AI solutions.
• Identify areas where AI can add value to the division's goals.

Required profile

• Background in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to present to diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and process improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping and user story creation.
• Hands-on experience creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
