Business Analyst - Product Delivery (Associate Manager / Manager)

About the role

The Product Delivery Business Analyst (Associate Manager / Manager) plays a critical role in delivering successful product launches across multiple platforms. The role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders so that products are delivered on time, with quality and in line with governance and standards. It reports to the Product Delivery Team Lead and works with business, technology and operations stakeholders to meet delivery and quality KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Support and monitor end-to-end delivery of new product launches, and lead launch discussions with stakeholders, prioritising scope and changes
• Identify, manage and escalate delivery risks and issues with clear recommendations
• Document business requirements, solution designs and business rules, and validate them before development, testing and implementation
• Discuss and align alternative solutions with Technology and relevant stakeholders
• Translate requirements into test scenarios and conditions for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and own UAT planning, execution, coordination and sign-off
• Track defects with Technology teams and lead defect checkpoint discussions
• Perform post-deployment verification and maintain SOPs, training materials and user guides, and run stakeholder training sessions
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and adherence to launch SOPs and governance frameworks
• Coach, guide and mentor team members, oversee team deliverables and promote a delivery culture of ownership, collaboration and accountability

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Life/Asia system within insurance operations
• Experience managing or leading projects is a strong advantage
• GCE 'A' Levels or equivalent, or relevant professional qualifications
